Antonio Cassano feels that Inter Milan has been “smoked” by Barcelona and that he “may have acknowledged five goals.”
Cassano was not impressed with Nerazzurri’s performance in the first round of the 3-3 Champions League semi-finals. He made a poignant review on the Viva El Futbol podcast via fcinternews.

Cassano claimed that Nicolo Barrera and Alessandro Bastoni would receive “favors” in the media.
The previous striker also claimed that Nerazzurri had a “sh*t season” and that even if they won the Champions League.
Cassano: Barcelona’s inter “steam roll” – “Maybe we’ve recognized five goals”
Former striker Cassano claimed he had “who saw great football from the Italian Inter.”
“But there are very few in Europe.”
“I have to be clear about that. I’ve seen the differences in philosophy, quality and ideas.”
“And if Inzagi says he doesn’t convince me, that’s because he plays like this in Europe,” Cassano insisted on Inter’s coach. “A careful defeatist.”
“In Italy, we may be able to score three goals against Empori and Verona,” he continued.
“But Inter was under pressure throughout the game.”
Furthermore, Cassano insisted that “the 3-3 scoreline is not of interest to me.”
“The real truth is they admitted 20 shots, and they made it defensively poor.”
“Maybe they’ll reach the finals and I’m happy with Italian football,” Cassano said. “But today’s analysis is different.”
“People talk a lot about Inzagi as geniuses, but tonight they just kicked the ball for so long.”
“It was the same story for Bayern Munich. In 180 minutes, they made little Inter. That’s an objective fact.”

After a 3-3 draw against Barcelona yesterday, former striker Cassano declared, “What a match.”
He called the first semi-finals “epic” and “great.”
“It was the best match of the entire Champions League season given the weight of the match.”
“It was a real, intense, and top-level match.”
Cassano then argued, “When you see Barca being unique, it’s because they can’t get you the whim of the ball, even though they don’t have an absolute phenomenon player.”
“They are extraordinary possessions,” he continued. “In control of the game.”
“Inter fought back three times throughout the match.”
And of Inter’s corner kick, Cassano said, “Forget them. We knew they were one of the weapons that preferred Nerazzuri.”
He insisted that “a strong team like Inter can’t afford to play such a game.”
“They were steamed rolls,” the former striker claimed. “They may have recognized five goals.”
“It was certainly a serious match, but it was very, very defensive.”
Inter is “the most powerful team in Italy.”
“But they can’t be at that level in Europe where they play that way. They disappointed me in terms of their quality.”
“Inter has a strong midfield, but they were overtaken by Barcelona in terms of ideas, quality and pace,” Cassano insisted.
“Some of the praise for them needs to be eased. Bastoni and Barrera are great players, but we saw their limits yesterday. Barcelona exposed them.”
