Milan will face Genoa on Monday night’s kickoff in Serie A, but Sergio Conseikao and Rossonelli will have to do it without star forward Rafael Rio, left among the Marasi replacements.
In a surprising call, Leao was removed from the Milan starting lineup against Genoa and replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek. They beat Venice 2-0 last time.

Why Leao is not included in Milan’s lineup against Genoa
According to Daniele Luongo’s update, Leao has been removed from the starting lineup for tactical reasons, in contrast to injuries and fitness concerns. There have been suggestions from other outlets, including Sky. Leao is on the verge of being on a weekend before a Friday night match against Bologna.
Portugal International scored 11 goals and provided 12 assists in all competitions. All seven goals he scored in Serie A this season have left his home. 4-0 victory over Udinese Mid April.
This is not the first time Leao has been removed from the Milan lineup this season. In this terminology in Serie A, it has already occurred seven times.

What Conceco said about Leao and the rest player for Genoa

“Every day we come here, we have the responsibility to work for clubs like Milan. The Serie A table is what it is, but we have the responsibility to prove our quality every day.
“I don’t care what other coaches do. I have a lot of respect for Fabio Capello, but he has his ideas and I have mine. Plus, the game has not only 11 players, but some people get off the bench.”
