Inter have long been linked with a possible move for Sassuolo’s Tarik Mujaremović, but the latest reports from Italy suggest they are even more likely to sign Roma’s Evan Ndicka.
Inter’s position on Muharemovic, Solet and Ndicka
Inter are looking to strengthen following their domestic double in 2025-26, and with the departures of Francesco Acerbi, Matteo Darmian and possibly Stefan de Vrij as well, their defense is a unit that needs work. There is also a scenario in which Jan Bisek moves to Bayern Munich.
Firstly, it looks increasingly likely that the Nerazzurri will retain Alessandro Bastoni, who had been linked with a summer move to Barcelona, but then the Blaugrana decided to invest the bulk of their limited funds in signing Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United.
As for new signings, Inter have long been linked with Muharemovic and Udinese’s Oumar Sollet.
Inter still have a chance of signing Sollet this summer, but La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that negotiations with Sassuolo for Muharemovic are becoming increasingly complicated.
The Neroverdi are demanding a high transfer fee for the Bosnian player, taking into account that 50% of the transfer fee must go to the player’s former club Juventus. Furthermore, Sassuolo are reportedly expecting a series of strong performances from the defender at the upcoming World Cup, which could attract wider interest and increase the transfer fee.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Inter are “not interested” in a bidding war with the Premier League’s richer sides, and Sassuolo are hopeful that could become a reality.

The Ivorian is a key member of the Giallorossi’s starting XI, but Roma are aware that they must raise around €60 million by June 30 to comply with Financial Fair Play rules, and might find it difficult to turn down big cash offers for players like Ndicka and potentially Manu Kone.
