Galatasaray coach Okan Burg has confirmed that the club’s pressing deal with Naples striker Victor Osimchen will cause “budget issues” and “budget issues” where it is unlikely to find an agreement with midfielder Hakan Karhanoglu.
Galatasaray is seeking a deal between two famous Serie A players, Osimhen, owned by Napoli and Nerazi Li midfielder Karjanoglu, which is a Napoli-owned man.
Reports earlier in the week confirmed that Galatasaray agreed to pay a release clause of 75 million euros on Osimen’s Napoli contract after an overwhelmingly successful spell that was loaned out in Istanbul during the 2024-25 season.

The parties remain in debate over the 75 million euro payment structure, with Naples seeking official guarantees from the bank to ensure that payments are received in full.
Buruk confirms that Galatasaray is unlikely to land a Calhanoglu deal
With Osimhen’s contract approaching completion at a cost of 705 million euros, Galatasaray rarely stops trading Calhanoglu from Inter.

Nerazzurri previously warned that the 31-year-old would not leave the club this summer for less than 30 million euros, and that he would remain an interplayer for 2025-26 if there was no agreement on his exit by the end of the month.
Buruk spoke publicly on Thursday, confirming that as a result of negotiations with Osimhen, Calhanoglu’s contract is almost unlikely to be a contract for Galatasaray.
“All teams want Karjanoglu. He’s an incredible player,” Burg said.
“His love for Galatasaray is very strong,” Burg continued.

“But now he’s playing for a team he’s hoping for. Everyone wants Hakan, but with Osimhen’s issues, budget issues become important.
“Hakan is an important player for a team like Inter and we need to respect that too. It’s important to sign a player like him, but I don’t know about our budget or expectations from the other side.
