Roma returned Paulo Dybala to a false-nine role alongside Lorenzo Pellegrini and Matthias Sule, while Inter started Ange-Joan Bony alongside Lautaro Martínez and Hakan Calhanoglu.

Kick-off will take place at the Stadio Olimpico at 19:45 UK time (18:45 GMT).

The Giallorossi have made a strong start under new manager Gian Piero Gasperini and are level with Napoli at the top of the table, so they could be in a head-to-head battle for the Scudetto.

Leon Bailey was on the bench for the first time since joining from Aston Villa after picking up an injury in his first training session.

With Angelino sidelined due to flu symptoms that worsened to bronchitis, Wesley was moved to the left side and Zeki Selik was placed on the right side.

The big surprise is that Dybala is back and being used as a false nine while Artem Dovvik and Evan Ferguson have both struggled to make an impact this season.

He is supported by Pellegrini and Sule, while Manu Kone starts in midfield after being the subject of a big offer from Inter in the summer.

Inter are without Markus Thuram, Matteo Darmian and goalkeeper Raffaele Di Gennaro.

Francesco Pio Esposito celebrated his first first-team goal for Italy last week, but due to the burden of international duty, he has been rested in favor of Bony as Lautaro Martinez’s front partner.

There will be no rotation of the squad for the Champions League as the rest of the line-up, including Hakan Calhanoglu, Nicolo Barella and Manuel Akanji, are Cristian Chivu’s first choice.
