Italian journalist Alfredo Pedula criticized Inter Milan after their 3-1 loss to Napoli on Saturday.
Speaking on his YouTube channel via FCInter1908, Pedula deemed the famous coach’s actions “unacceptable”.
Antonio Conte is back at Inter Milan.
In fact, he led Napoli to their fourth Serie A title in his first season in charge at Inter’s expense.
Additionally, Conte defeated his former club on Saturday, ending their winning streak at seven.
But the violent clash at the Maradona Stadium had its share of controversial moments.
First, referee Maurizio Mariani gave Napoli a decisive push in the first half with a questionable penalty call.
Furthermore, as the match drew to a close, Conte and Lautaro Martinez engaged in a heated exchange near the touchline.
Conte, known for his flamboyant personality, confronted El Toro in front of the cameras.
The disturbing scenes have not gone unnoticed in Naples and have drawn widespread criticism.
Alfredo Pedula slams Antonio Conte after Napoli lose 3-1 to Inter Milan
“Napoli and Inter have stated an indisputable fact,” Pedula said. “The first is that we are in an incredible state of disarray because the referees are not able to see the game live and are working in delayed mode.
“VAR analysts have six or seven different versions, which confirms how impossible it is to understand certain situations.
“Furthermore, this penalty is one of those that Rocchi clearly says should not have been given.
“Mr. Marotta expressed his thoughts politely and acknowledged that the results were justified.
“I consider Conte a great coach, but he has also made behavioral mistakes. The altercation with Lautaro was unacceptable and should not have happened.”
“Then he reads the messages in an interview and talks about sending text messages…
“But there has to be normal behavior on the field. Both were wrong.
“But coaches are often educators and cannot afford to fall into these traps.
“Even if both parties were at fault, it started with Lautaro and there were previous problems.”
Alfredo Pedula praises Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu

Meanwhile, Pedula praised Inter manager Cristian Chivu.
“This game showed us that we don’t have clear guidance,” he continued.
“Every game is different and the referees are often not up to standard, but the best person after the game was Kivu.
“During the game, he made some decisions that he shouldn’t have made, but after the game he gave us a great lesson.
“We’re the ones who keep arguing for 48 hours. He said he would never do that.”
Finally, he gave his verdict on Chivu’s in-game management.
“He taught us a valuable lesson. He could have stuck to the case too.
“I wish someone had asked him about the changes in midfield, why he played Zielinski, who he thinks is technically not good enough, or why Frattesi doesn’t play much.
“The best person on the pitch was Napoli, but off the pitch it was Chivu.
“He didn’t ride the wave, he didn’t look for excuses. I’m not moral, but I hope that certain actions on the field are not repeated.”
“You have to lead by example on the pitch so you can read the text messages.”
