Another second half comeback cameback three points away from Serie A’s Genova on Monday evening, scoring his own goals from Vitaigna, Rafael Leo and Griffon skipper Morten Friend Rapp.
With a surprising call from Sergio Concenceo, Marassi’s starting lineup did not include Leao. He was replaced by Reuben Loftus Cheek in Milan’s only change. Meanwhile, Patrick Vieira brought Stefano Saveri, Junior Messias and Andrea Pinamonty back to his first XI.
You can see how the action unfolded on the Italian football live blog.

Milan started brightly in a pair of corners in the opening minutes, but could not threaten Nicola Luli with Genoa Net.
Brooke Norton Cuffy offered the first shot on the target, and after cutting from the right flank, he tried to bend one into a far corner, but his efforts were not far from Mainyan.
Theo Hernandez tried to chase after Reali by making headlines with speculative shots from over 70 yards and halfway through his own half, but his efforts didn’t bend it enough and went out for the goal kick.
Meignan offered the most impressive action of the first half, providing an incredible double save to deny Genoa from the corner, first diving across his line to stop the ball with Goarine before preventing follow-up on the underside of the boot.
Also, Leari had to repeat his actions to deny Christian thieves before the interval after the Americans slipped into the alternative Leao, which was introduced 28 minutes later in place of the injured Youssouf fofana. Pulisic is expected to score from these types of positions these days.
A pair of stops for Patrizio Masini and Tijani Rayjun to receive treatment were created for a rather disjointed opening period after the interval.
That was until Vitanya was introduced on the host’s time mark. The 25-year-old hadn’t scored in the competition all season, but he got off the bench and scored on the first touch of the game, converting with a side-foot volley after Aaron Martin’s delivery from the left flank.

However, Milan quickly continued to achieve two goals in a row.
Two alternatives combined for the equalizer: Santiago Gimenez latches into a long ball on top, then Leao offers a cutback from the right by-line to turn, via a large Brook Norton Cuffy deflection.
Leao has three goals and two assists this season from eight appearances from the Serie A bench.
Two minutes later. The Tijjani Reijnders played low ball from the opposite side. This was about to fall completely to tap the house, but Morten Frendrup intervened and accidentally placed the ball 1-2 behind his net.

As a result of tonight’s match, there was no change in Serie A ranking. Milan is still in 9th place, while Genoa is in 13th place.
Genoa 1-2 Milan
Vitinha 61 ‘Leao 76′, Frendrup (OG) 78’.
