Igor Tudor has been “happy” in what he saw from his first week of Juventus, revealing what elements of the game he has been trying to tackle since taking over from Thiago Motta at the end of March.
The new Bianconeri head coach held a pre-game press conference on Saturday ahead of his Sunday trip to Studio Olimpico, which will take on Rome at Serie A.
What Tudor has been working on with Juventus so far, what needs to happen next?
“It worked, we’ve been working on everything,” Tudor said when asked about his first week in charge of the old lady.

He revealed what aspects of the game he has been working on so far. “I’m happy with the first week. It was good. We worked on two different phases, set pieces and physical fitness. I want the boys to do well.”
He is encouraged by what he saw on consecutive training pitches, but Tudor does not deny that there is still a way to go. He also provided a list of the factors that Juventus needs to continue towards.
“We have to grow the game after the game. I am a strong believer in the work I’ve done over the week and I work on all the different concepts.
“You have to work on everything: style, structure, identity, defensive stages. A team like Juventus can’t give up anything. Coaches have labels, but often don’t reflect reality.

Tudor also spoke about the team’s condition. When he took over the shy two weeks ago from the shy, he said, “I took over the team in a bad moment. Now we’re starting to pick up ourselves and take the pedals.
Tudor of Rome Juventus
Naturally, Tudor also talks about his upcoming match against Rome, and there is a challenge to rise to Claudio Ranieri.
Many feel that Sunday’s match will have a major impact on the race in the European position in Serie A. Serie A’s European position and Juventus are three points behind Rome, Rome, 5th in Rome, three points behind in sixth.
“It’s an important match, but it’s not definitive,” Tudor said. “This is an important game, countering teams with a series of great results. We want to focus on ourselves and implement what we’ve been working on.

“Ranieri made a difference. It’s obvious that everyone sees. I always enjoy this type of game. I’m thinking about players.
Tudor also provided updates on the fitness of Andrea Cambiaso and Douglas Lewis.
And with Teun Koopmeiners, he added: “We talked too much about him. He worked regularly like everyone else. He had an amazing week.
Tudor on the importance of Juventus Steam Dinner

The team and coaching staff of Juventus’ first team went out for dinner at a restaurant owned by former Bianconeri defender Leonardo Bonucci at the beginning of the week.
Tudor also spoke about the importance of team bonding. “I wanted to take everyone with me. I wanted a lovely dinner. Not only are I going to be with the players, but all the staff, we talked a lot, we talked a lot. We were happy. We went home early.
