Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevalli has opened up about the club’s negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain over the signing of centre-forward Randal Kolo Muani, admitting that there was still a significant difference between asking price and offer and that it would not be appropriate for the club to focus “only” on the Frenchman.
Carnevali on Juventus move: ‘We are working hard for Kolo Muani, but we are not going to focus solely on him.’
Juventus have parted ways with Dusan Vlahovic, whose contract expires on June 30th, and are looking for a new centre-forward.
There have been rumors in Italy for several weeks that Juventus would be interested in signing Kolo Muani. Kolo Muani was loaned to the Old Lady in the second half of the 2024-25 season and enjoyed success in Serie A, scoring eight goals in 16 appearances.
Last week, it was reported that Juventus had confirmed a loan offer with an obligation to buy. The total cost of 33 million euros was refused. And PSG reportedly held on with a fee of 40 million euros.
Carnevalli admitted in an interview on Tuesday that there was still a big difference between Juve’s offer and PSG’s offer, and that the Bianconeri were considering several other profiles in attack.

“The demands for Kolo Muani have not been lowered and the offer has not been increased, but we are working hard,” Carnevalli told Sky (via Gianluca di Marzio).
“I’m not just going to focus on him. If there’s a big difference, we have to make the right assessment. We’re trying to do the best we can,” he admitted.
Carnevalli also confirmed that he had not met with Vlahovic to discuss a possible contract extension and that Alexander Soros was one of the possible replacements for Kolo Muani. “We have not met with him (Vlahovic). The door is open not only to Soros but also to other players.”

Carnevalli also spoke about Juve’s interest in Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, admitting: “We have to wait. Martinez is interested in us, but he is also interesting for many other teams. There will be a lot of opportunities. There are players who are already highly rated, and there are players who should be on the lookout.”
