Nunez is the latest Premier League player related to the move to Naples and former Serie, whose comments were made by striker Caputo on the possibility of a move to Stadio Maradona.

“I had no agreement with Juventus at all. I told anyone who tried to approach me, I wouldn’t tell anyone until I spoke to President De Laurentiz, ‘President of Naples.’ ”
Caputo, the scorer with 69 goals in the 206 Serie A match, added: “Conte’s stay is a value added to Naples. He prefers physically structured strikers such as Lukaku, so he needs a similar player.
Conte’s Napoli will make their debut in the 2025-26 Serie on August 23rd, visiting the newly promoted Side Sassoro.
The following week, on August 30th, Partenopei will host Cagliari in the first home game of the campaign.
